Staff

The ATID Campus Fellowship is a program of the ATID Campus Foundation. This private foundation, established in 1984, funds programs in North America and Israel that promote the appreciation and observance of Judaism and encourage mutual understanding and sensitivity among Jews of different levels of commitment.

The ATID Campus Fellowship has been developed in cooperation with the Hillel of Greater Washington.

Director and Principal Educator
Rabbi Hirsh M. Chinn, MSW
He was ordained by Mesivita Torah Vodaath, and holds graduate degrees from Long Island University (Education/Guidance and Counseling), and Ohio State University (Clinical Social Work). He has worked with college students for the past ten years.

Senior Educator
Dr. Shulamith Reich Elster

She holds a Doctor Education degree from the George Washington University and was awarded an honorary Doctor of Pedagogy degree from the Jewish Theological Seminary of America. She served as Headmaster of the Charles E. Smith Jewish Day School and Director of the Council for Initiatives in Education and is the Executive Director of Hillel of Greater Washington.

Administrator
Julie D. Greenwald, MSW

She holds a graduate degree from the University of Chicago, School of Social Service Administration (Clinical Social Work). She has worked within the Washington Jewish Community for the past eleven years, as a youth group director, and program administrator.
